Sortland Church (Norwegian: Sortland kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Sortland in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Sortland. The church is part of the Sortland parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland.

History

The church in Sortland dates back to at least 1370. Several buildings have been used, the current one was built in 1902 to replace a church that was built in 1776. The present, white, wooden church was built in 1902 and it seats about 840 people. It was designed by the architects Carl Julius Bergstrøm and Karl Norum in the neo-gothic style.
