Hurricane and tropical storm warnings have been issued for the Azores as Hurricane Lorenzo is heading towards the chain of islands. Cruise companies have made

cruise itinerary changes

to avoid the hurricane’s path.

Royal Caribbean International’s Explorer of the Seas departed on 9/21/19 from Southampton, England. The ship’s itinerary was changed. She hasn’t visited Santa Margherita, Italy on 9/29/19 but has had a sea day. She has called at Malaga on 9/30/19, a day earlier. After two days at sea, Explorer will have an overnight stop in Le Havre (Paris) and then return to Southampton as planned.

Princess Cruises’ Crown Princess departed on 9/10/19 from Southampton, England. The ship won’t visit Ponta Delgada today, on 10/01/19 but will have a day at sea.
