The Bryan Museum is located in Galveston, Texas, US. Opened in 2015, the Bryan Museum is focused on the history and art of the American Southwest, and features a collection of historical artifacts, documents, and artwork relating to the Southwestern United States.

History

Assembled over a lifetime by Mary Jon and J.P. Bryan, the collection spans more than 2,500 years and boasts some 70,000 items. The collection includes ancient Native American cultural artifacts, modern 21st century pieces, rare documents in several languages, saddles and spurs, antique firearms, rare books, fine art, religious art, folk art, portraits, rare maps and more.

The museum is located in the former Galveston Orphans Home.
