Brionplein is a square in the Otrabanda district of Willemstad in Curaçao.

The square bears the name of Admiral Pedro Luis Brión, a Curaçaoan who contributed much to the South American freedom struggle in the 19th century; there is a statue of him in the square.

The square is also called Awasá. This comes from awa salu, which means salt water. It lies west of the entrance to the bay with the pontoon bridge. On the southern side of the square is the Riffort (nowadays a mall with galleries, shops, and restaurants). In the southwest corner is a colonial building that houses the police station. On the western side of the square is a hotel, shops and the episcopal buildings behind it. Hotel-casino Otrabandar borders the northern side of the square. The eastern side of the square is bordered by the water that gives access to the Anna Bay; the Punda district is reached via the Queen Emma Bridge (a pontoon bridge).

The square usually is a lively place with sellers, live music, etc.
