Tokyo. DisneySea Park. Beginning

Nefer • 6 minutes read • September 11th, 2016
DisneySea Park opened in Japan in 2001. This is a Disney topical park on the water. All the amusement rides, shows and entertainment are in one way or another connected with the water element.

Tokyo Disney Resort

is located in the suburbs. There is a huge area with several parks and hotel.
The Park is closer than I imagined.
The way was fairly simple, but with some changes. First, we had to get to Keiyo Line. We made a change on Hatchobori Station. Then we had to go to Maihama Station - a place where

Disneyland

is located. We spent about 6 USD.
A ticket to the park for a day for an adult costs about 56 USD.

Although, the park itself is one big attraction. The volcano has the same height as the Cinderella Castle in Disneyland.

Tokyo Disney Resort

are built-in right into the park! This complex is called MiraCosta.
4tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgDisneySea has only 7 zones: Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast и Mysterious Island.
The entrance to the park is the Mediterranean harbor, around which six ports are located: American coast, the lost river delta, Discovery Port, mermaid lagoon, Arabian Coast, and Mysterious Island.
5tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgWe walked a little, looked around, and took some pictures. Suddenly, we heard the music, and the boat sailed with all various Mickey Mice sailed. They began to sing, dance and have fun in every way!

There’s a passenger ship SS Columbia, where some restaurants are situated. There’s also a railroad. If you go one way, then you come to the entrance (or exit), and if you go in the other direction, then you come to the adventure zone, where Indiana Jones is. The American zone has the Broadway Theater, Turtle Talk ride and the Tower of Terror.

17tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg18tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg19tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgWe came back to the Mediterranean Harbor. Mediterranean was in the form of Venice with its canals and gondolas.
20tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg21tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgHere’s a view of the bay and the hotel Mira Costa.
22tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg23tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgPort Discovery is the zone of the future. It’s similar to Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. Although there are similarities with Discoveryland. There were the Weather Control Center and two attractions: Aquatopia and Stormrider. Besides, there’s a railway, which goes to the beginning of the park.
24tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgThis is Aquatopia.
25tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgFastpass-ticket can be bought here. It may save 70 minutes of time. But there is a “single-rider”! You shall say a magic word and pass the queue on some rides ;)
26tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgThis is the bridge leading to Delta Lost River, the adventure zone. There’s Indiana Jones Adventure in Aztec pyramid: the Temple of the Crystal Skull. There's Raging Spirits a little further of the mountain with a dead loop. There’s a show Mystic Rhythms, which is held several times a day in the hangar. We got there quite accidentally.
27tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgThe show was just excellent! All these jungles had parted, and the actors played a musical performance on the stage. The costumes and special effects were very impressive, we seemed to be in some other world. Everything was related to the water. We really enjoyed it.
28tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgHere’s Mysterious Island. This is inside the volcano. It is called Mount Prometheus.
29tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg30tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg31tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgWe came out of the tunnel on the opposite side, we went around a circle and passed through another tunnel towards the exit.
32tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgWe came to the Mediterranean bay on the other side. We left the territory of the park.
33tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgHere’s the exit through the hotel archway.
34tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgWe had little time, but then ran Mickey Mouse came, making the crowd have fun!
35tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg36tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg37tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg38tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgIn Japan, all children and many adults, adore Mickey Mouse! People often come and touch the characters, looking at them with eyes full of admiration.
39tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgThe shops are full of different products with the symbol of Walt Disney.
40tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpg41tokyo-disneysea-park-p1.jpgAnd then we went to the show ZED Cirque du Soleil!
