St. Thomas Island. Port.

Capi4ca • 3 minutes read • August 20th, 2015
The

island of St. Thomas

is located in the US Virgin Islands, which were discovered by Columbus in 1493.

St. Thomas

was owned by England, Spain, France and Denmark. And in 1917 the island was bought by the USA for $25 million.

The island’s inhabitants have American citizenship, but they don’t vote for the president. They live mainly off of tourism.

The boat approached us, leading the way to the wharf.

The islands began to appear.

One liner was a far way off.

Hydroplane!

For some reason, St. Thomas greeted us with clouds!

Not only were there clouds, we also saw a rainbow!

Here we started to turn around, 180 degrees!

Rain!

Various modes transport met the tourists.

Such a strange taxi!

It was raining!

Our ropes had already been secured.

At about 7.30 a.m. we arrive on

St. Thomas island

and gathered for our tou at 8.45 a.m.
