P&O Cruises Australia has some sad news for its friends: the company has just announced that

Pacific Jewel

would leave it soon. On the other hand, this means that the company continues to refresh the fleet and it will get another new member. By the way, we already know her name!

Pacific Jewel that has faithfully served the cruise line for almost ten years will depart on her final sailing under the flag of P&O Cruises Australia on February 24, 2019 from Melbourne. Then she will join her new cruise family.
The beloved cruise liner will be replaced by another representative of Grand class ships, 3,100-guest Star Princess. She will start her career as a part of P&O at the end of 2021. Her sister ship, Golden Princess, is expected to take the first sailing for P&O in fall 2020.
We remind you that Pacific Eden will leave her current fleet in April 2019, after Pacific Jewel.
