Great news. The first new cruise ship 2020 is delivered. Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Fincantieri celebrated the momentous event yesterday, on January 30, 2020.

Seven Seas Splendor

officially joined her fleet at Ancona shipyard in Italy. Now the newbuild is getting ready for her maiden voyage, a Transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami that will begin on February 6, 2020.
Dear friends, it’s time for the first story of the cruise ship’s construction this year, and we can’t wait to start it.

Regent Seven Seas Splendor cruise ship is the second representative of the RSSC’s Explorer class. Like her sister, Seven Seas Explorer, she is the all-suite, all-balcony vessel. The 55,254-ton liner accommodates 750 cruise lovers in 375 suites.
Her christening ceremony will take place in Miami on February 21, 2020. She will be officially named by an American model, actress, and entrepreneur, Christie Brinkley.
Seven Seas Splendor ship will spend her inaugural 2020 season in the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

Well, it’s time to see how it all began.

The steel cutting ceremony for our heroine took place on March 15, 2018.
