The end of 2019 appears to be very eventful for the cruise industry. Well, just like the whole year. We have already greeted a number of revolutionary new cruise ships. Now it’s time to get ready to meet the MSC Cruises’ newbuild, the

MSC Grandiosa cruise ship

Let’s start with the fact that MSC Grandiosa will become the cruise line’s newest flagship. Besides, she will become the MSC Cruises’ most environmentally advanced ship so far. She is the first representative of Meraviglia-plus generation of cruise liners and the cruise line’s second vessel to feature ZOE, the world’s first digital cruise assistant fitted in every stateroom. So you can imagine the scale of the event.
The ship will be officially delivered on October 31, 2019. Her christening will take place in Hamburg, and the celebration will last four nights. By the way, can you guess her future godmother? Yes, of course, the ship will be named by Sophia Loren.
MSC Grandiosa with a tonnage of 181,000 GT and a capacity of 4,824 guests swill depart on November 10 from Hamburg on her inaugural sailing to Genoa. The liner is scheduled to operate Mediterranean sailings from Genoa.
