Costa Smeralda cruise ship

is among them. She will become not just the Costa Cruises’ new cruise ship but the company’s first LNG-powered liner and new flagship when she enters service. Can you imagine the scale of this event?

Costa Smeralda is scheduled to join her fleet in October 2019. On October 20, 2019, the ship will depart from Hamburg on her debut trip. The inauguration of the Costa Cruises’ newest addition will take place on November 3, 2019 in Savona. The ship will spend her maiden season in the Mediterranean.
Costa Smeralda is a representative of an Excellence class of vessels. Currently, she is being under construction at Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. The ship will have a tonnage of 183,900 GT and will accommodate 6,522 cruise lovers and 1,678 crew members. She has 19 decks, 2,641 cabins, several main dining rooms and specialty restaurants, numerous bars and lounges, four pools, and various attractions for every taste.
Her construction started in September 2017, and now we are just one step away from Costa Smeralda.
