Holland America Line’s future addition,

Nieuw Statendam

, brought us closer to her debut in December of this year. The ship successfully completed two sets of sea trials and returned to Fincantieri's shipyard in Italy, where she will be put the final touches.

The 2,666-guest cruise liner, the second representative of the company’s Pinnacle class, departed Marghera on the 1st set of sea trials on August 10 and headed towards Trieste. The 2nd set started on August 18, when the ship sailed back to Marghera.
