is getting ready for its fascinating liner's, Queen Elizabeth 2's, 50th anniversary!

To make this event really momentous, the company prepared a special sailing on the luxury liner operated by Cunard, Queen Elizabeth. She’ll depart on a 17 Night Europe cruise from Southampton, England on September 8, 2017. The ship will take her friends to the welcoming ports of Italy, Greece, Croatia, and other countries and return to Southampton on September 25, 2017.
Five special theme days of this adventure will tell the vessel’s guests about the eventful history of QE2, about her career, achievements, records, and other interesting facts. A festive menu, past-passenger gatherings, meetings with the special guests, and many other surprises and events are scheduled in the daily program of this unique voyage. September 20, 2017 will become the culmination of the celebrations, because Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II launched the magnificent QE2 on this very day 50 years ago, in the year 1967.

Such sailing is a great way to pay tribute to one of the world’s most famous and loved liners!

The admirable pearl of Cunard, Queen Elizabeth 2, served the company from 1969 to 2008. In total, she took 806 Transatlantic Crossings and 26 world cruises, carried 2.5 million passengers and overcame a distance of more than 5.6 million miles! She participated in the 1982 Falklands War and became the Cunard's longest serving express liner. QE2 set numerous cruise world records, and she still remains an honored member of the cruise family.
