As we prepare for the next cruise, we want everything to be perfect, including cruise food, accommodation, entertainment, a tours program, and, of course, our cruise clothes. After all, an outfit appropriate for the place, time, and situation works wonders. It helps to stay calm and feel confident, not to mention comfort. That’s why it is so important to give due time and attention to picking out your outfits for the upcoming cruise.

dress code. Let’s begin! Photo by Jeremy T. Hetzel/Flickr/CC BY 2.0
First, let’s deal with your everyday wear.
It's obvious that everything depends on the destination you are going to explore. Pack your favorite swimsuit and swim cover-up form the Caribbean and Bahamas. Flip flops, sun hats, sunglasses are also a must take, as well as sundresses, skirts, shirts, T-shirts, and comfortable shoes. For Alaska adventures, choose sweaters, gloves, hats, and other warm accessories. Don’t forget a packable raincoat.

By the way, a favorite sweater and, for example, a shawl is a great idea even for warm destinations. Evenings may be pretty cool, and the weather is so unpredictable, you know.
We recommend that you take your sportswear since there are many ways to keep fit on a cruise ship (you can check our tips via this link). Besides, don’t forget to take appropriate clothes for land tours: special shoes for excursions to waterfalls, a long skirt for a visit to a church, etc.

We hope everything is clear with everyday wear. Now let’s move on to Celebrity Cruises dining dress code.
Casual
Guests can enjoy lunch in Oceanview Café or other dining venues with a casual dress code in sundresses, T-shirts, shorts, and other casual attire. Pool clothes are acceptable in snack bars by the pool.

Smart Casual
Smart Casual dress code is required for dinners in the liner’s main restaurant and specialty restaurants. This means skirts, pants, casual tops for women and pants, jeans, shirts for men.

Evening Chic
As for Celebrity Cruises Formal Night dress code... Well, there are no Formal Nights on Celebrity Cruises. There are Evening Chic nights. What’s the difference? Good news: formal attire is not mandatory. However, it should be something dressier than Smart Casual. A cocktail dress, skirt, pants, designer jeans with an elegant top would be great for ladies. Gentlemen can put on their favorite pants or designer jeans with a dress shirt, a sweater, or a blazer.
Of course, you can wear a tuxedo and formal gown on Evening Chic nights. Be happy, be stylish, be yourself. Just forget about shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, flip flops, and all that jazz. Let this evening be special for you and other guests.

All 7-night or longer sailing have two Evening Chic nights. Shorter sailings have one.

Well, everything is quite easy, right? Just forget about pool clothes, robes, tank tops in the main dining room and specialty restaurants.
