Celebrations took place at Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, where the liner is being under construction at the moment. The basin with the vessel was flooded, and the company’s authorities and shipyard’s employees witnessed the traditional cutting of the ribbon and breaking of the bottle.
The 135,500-ton liner accommodating 5,100 cruise lovers is expected to enter service in spring 2019.
In the meantime, let’s check several pictures of her future interior! Photo courtesy of Costa Cruises
