This member of the company's Freedom-class was built at the Aker Finnyards Turku Shipyard, Finland and cost the company 800 million dollars. The cruise liner joined the Royal Caribbean’s fleet in 2007. She was christened on May 18, 2007, and departed on her maiden voyage on May 19, 2007.

Currently, the ship operates 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruises leaving from Galveston, Texas and calling at the welcoming ports in Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, and other countries.
